Sail4th 250, a non-profit organization, is spearheading the celebration by coordinating a parade of tall ships from around the world and an assemblage of naval vessels. This once-in-a-lifetime event is predicted to bring massive crowds to the area, as the public will have access and viewing of the vessels at multiple locations.
From a Parade of Tall Ships to Fireworks and a Performance by The Blue Angels
The celebration has been in the works for some time by Sail4th 250 and we are now beginning to see a glimpse into what can be expected during what is being dubbed Fleet Week. The list of countries sending tall ships to participate in the parade continues to grow and will kick off the festivities with a parade of these wondrous vessels. An impressive aerial show will be performed by the renowned Blue Angels, among many other ongoing scheduled events and entertainment. Many of the nation’s great historical documents will be on display. Of course, fireworks, food festivals, and entertainers will keep everyone entertained during this tremendous celebration.
